1 Dead 12 Injured Nelson Asaytono’s Daughter Involved

1 Dead and 12 were injured when a vehicle hit a number of parked tricycles and a barber shop in Sta. Mesa, Manila. 4 of those injured were in critical condition.

Those injured were brought to the UERM Memorial hospital.

It was discovered that the driver of the offending vehicle is the daughter of the former PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) star player Nelson Asaytono.

She was immediately charged thereafter.

It was alleged that at the time of the event, Nelson Asaytono’s daughter was not carrying her driver’s license and was also allegedly intoxicated.

The vehicle driven by Nelson Asaytono’s daughter hit a car in front of a barber shop which in turn hit two tricycles parked beside it.

The event occurred at about 8:30 in the evening.

The vehicles impact was strong which cause some of those injured to be thrown away.

Oscar Lastimado, one of those hit unfortunately did not survived.

Bystanders help each other in removing the Toyota Inova vehicle from the accident area.

Medico Legal examination result confirmed that Kim Asaytono, the 22 years old daughter of Nelson Asaytono, was indeed under the influence of alcohol when the unfortunate incident happened.

The Fiscal’s office charged her of the crime of Reckless Imprudence resulting to damage to property with homicide and multiple physical injuries.

She refused to give any comment as well as her mother when tried to be interviewed.
