2024 Ramon Magsaysay Awardees Tour The National Museum
Last November 15, the National Museum of the Philippines hosted a guided tour for this year’s winners of the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award.
Mr. Karma Phuntsho from Bhutan and the members of the Rural Doctors Movement from Thailand were among the awardees who arrived. Their families and representatives of the other awardees were also with them.
Our distinguished guests were immersed in the wonders of the National Museum of Natural History, exploring the country’s diverse ecosystems and unique biodiversity. They also delved into the depths of Philippine culture at the National Museum of Anthropology, witnessing the intricate artistry, ancient traditions, and diverse ethnolinguistic groups that shape the nation’s identity.
The Ramon Magsaysay Award, known as Asia’s premier prize and highest honor, recognizes individuals and groups who exemplify the spirit of selfless service in their respective careers and sectors.
We are proud to have shared the beauty and significance of Philippine heritage with the awardees who embody the spirit of selfless service and transformative leadership.
