27th Biggest Economy in the World
According to the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), the Philippines is on track to become the world’s 27th largest economy by 2037, with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth averaging 5% over the next 15 years.
It noted that the Philippines, along with Bangladesh and Vietnam, are among the economies that will improve their rankings by finding a niche in the global value chain through reforms and increased labor productivity.
