Baldomero Aguinaldo, first cousin of Emilio Aguinaldo, was born on 27 February 1869, to parents Cipriano Aguinaldo and Silveria Baloy in Kawit, Cavite. A graduate of law and a farmer by nature, Baldomero Aguinaldo along with Emilio Aguinaldo, Candido and Daniel Tirona established the Katipunan’s Magdalo Council and became its president.
He also became the Secretary of the Treasury of the Biak-na-Bato, and Secretary of War and Public Works of the First Philippine Republic.
After the Philippine-American War, Aguinaldo pursued a private life and died on 4 February 1915. His remains were interred at Manila North Cemetery and were later exhumed and brought to his home in Kawit, Cavite.
