“Daluyong” is a large waves which are created by extreme winds, earthquakes, or any other force of nature. Daluyong is called katad in tagalog. The Ilocano calls it Aluyo, Buyun in Kapampangan, Agwahe in Spanish, and it is called Tidal Wave in English.
