Gokum is a round silver-and-copper lip balm container, ornately decorated with floral and geometric designs through repoussé. It measures 8.2 centimeters in diameter with a height of 7 centimeters. It is a container for honeybee wax which is applied as lip balm by women and some young men.
This Gokum forms part of the National Ethnographic Collection of the National Museum of the Philippines from the Maranao ethnolinguistic group of Lanao del Sur in the Southern Philippines.
