Harvesting: by Norris Castillo
World Art Day, The National Museum of the Philippines believes not all great art is big. At the National Museum of the Philippines, not only will visitors find the largest painting, the Spoliarium but also the smallest. This miniature oil on canvas painting by the late Norris Castillo (1954-2009), titled ‘Harvesting’ (ca. the 1980s) is only 0.64 cm high and 0.95 cm long. Once the National Museum of the Philippines is able to open its museums again, it would be happy to show this to you.
