It’s @kapampangan.words (Instagram) 600th post, so here’s one of our past special posts where we featured the 12 most spoken languages in the Philippines and how each of them says “I love you”! Always remember that each of these is classified as their own language (They’re not just “dialects”!) and that the Philippines has more than a hundred different languages aside from these! How do you say “I love you” in your language?
- Ilocano: Ay-ayaten ka.
- Pangasinan: Inaro ta ka.
- Kapampángan: Kaluguran da ka.
- Tagalog (Filipino): Mahal kita.
- Bikol: Namumutan ta ka.
- Waray: Hinihigugma ko ikaw.
- Cebuano (Bisaya): Gihigugma tika.
- Hiligaynon: Palangga ko ikaw.
- Tausug: Kalasahan ta kaw.
- Chavacano: Ta ama yo contigo.
- Maranao: Pekababaya-an ko seka.
- Maguindanaon: Kalinian ko seka.
