Arabic & Persian loanwords in Philippine languages were mostly borrowed indirectly through two major Arabic-influenced languages that Philippine languages borrowed them from: first is Malay which was the regional lingua franca during the Islamization of Southeast Asia starting in the late 13th to 14th centuries, and the second is Spanish which was influenced by the Arabic language from the 8th to 15th centuries during the Islamic era of Spain which then colonized the Philippines starting in the 16th century.
