September 22, 1762: The British fleet entered Manila Bay

On the evening of September 22, 1762, the British fleet entered Manila Bay. As part of
the Seven Years War in Europe, the city was captured by the British that year until
1764, when it was returned to Spain following the Treaty of Paris of 1763.
