A statue of Alfonso Yuchengco, On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of former ambassador Alfonso Yuchengco, (February 6, 1923, to April 15, 2017). Yuchengco is a Fil-Chinese, proud of his Filipino roots, He also held our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, in high esteem. In fact, two of the flagship companies of the Yuchengco Group are named in honor of Rizal: Malayan Insurance and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation. Inside RCBC, you will see a tall sculpture of Rizal in honor of him at the building entrance.
