Blessed with fertile flat plains, the greater Kapampángan area of Central Luzon is also the region that produces the most rice in the Philippines, contributing around 20% of the country’s total production. The province of Nueva Ecija itself is the top rice-producing province of the country and is referred to as the “Rice Granary of the Philippines”.
