Penalty for computer-related identity theft in the Philippines
Did you know?
RA 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 punishes the creation of accounts using someone else’s identity.
Those found guilty of committing computer-related identity theft will serve jail time of 6-12 years or will be meted a fine of at least P200,000.
