On this day, April 17, in 1898 Gen. Francisco Makabulos‘s established the Republic of Makabulos in Pampanga as a reaction to the existence of the Biak-na-Bato Agreement. He also dissolved the Republic of Makabulos when the Republic of Malolos was established.
