The Zest Theater (built circa 1933 | status: demolished) was an art deco-style movie house that once stood along Calle Hidaldo, facing the junction of Calle Carcer. It once featured English movies and later Tagalog films. The theater eventually fell into disuse and was bought by the neighboring Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU). It was eventually demolished and MLQU built a new library in its place. The lions that once adorned the facade can still be seen in front of the library. It has been abandoned since MLQU moved to Quezon City.
