He was a Filipino statesman, soldier, and politician who served as president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944.
August 19 is Quezon Day.
Manuel L. Quezon said,
I have an abiding faith in the people. I know that they have all the faculties needed to become a powerful and enlightened nation.
