The tangible (buildings, sites, landscapes, routes, objects) and the intangible elements (memories, narratives, written documents, rituals, festivals, traditional knowledge, values, textures, colors, odors, etc.), that is to say, the physical and the spiritual elements that give meaning, value, emotion, and mystery to a place.
Ang mga nasasalat (mga gusali, pook, tanawin, landas, gamit) at di-nasasalat (mga alaala, naratibo, kasulatan, ritwal, pagdiriwang, kaalamang tradisyonal, asal, tekstura, kulay, amoy, atbp.) na elemento, na masasabing mga pisikal at espiritwal na elementong nagbibigay kabuluhan, halaga, emosyon, at misteryo sa isang lugar.
