A Filipino student’s oil painting, envisioning how it would look like if we lived in space, reaches the International Space Station!
Twelve-year-old Sol Paul Charis Libiano, from Cabatuan Central Elementary School, Iloilo, bested hundreds of entries in the Axiom Space International Space Art & Poetry Contest launched on 9 March 2023. The winning works were selected by Axiom-2 Pilot John Shoffner, Axiom-2 Commander Peggy Whitson, Limitless Space Institute Director of Education Kaci Heins, and published author Monique Lorden, and were presented in the ISS by John Shoffner.
