The Kon Leche is a four-page weekly periodical containing Spanish satirical writings published in Manila from 1898-1899.
The artifact in focus of the NHCP Museum of Philippine Political History today, July 25, 2020, is “The Kon Leche”- a 4-paged periodical that reflected Spanish sentiments in the last years of Spain empire in the Philippines. It called the era of Aguinaldo government as the “El Disastre del ’98” (Disaster of ’98).
Ang The Kon Leche ay isang apat na pahinang lingguhang pahayagan na naglalaman ng mga mapanuyang sulating Espanyol na inilathala sa Maynila mula noong 1898-1899.
