The Casa Real of Lingayen was built in the mid-19th century. It served as the capital of Pangasinan until 1918.
It was used as a school in 1918, a court in the 1930s, and an office of the Japanese force in Lingayen during the second world war.
It was again used as a court office until 1996.
The Casa Real of Lingayen was declared a national historical landmark in 2002.
