Centennial Tree in Muntinlupa Philippines
In celebration of the local government’s 100th Founding Anniversary in 2017, the City of Muntinlupa and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) declared a 110-year old Mango Tree in Alabang as one of the city’s natural heritage.
The Centennial Tree is now included in the heritage tree conservation program of DENR which places limits on its removal and for its protection.
