Delpan
Formerly called Calle Principe, it was renamed after Rafael del Pan. He was a Filipino nationalist, lawyer, journalist, and reformist who strongly supported Philippine representation in the Spanish Cortes, and a fierce critic of Jose Rizal’s deportation to Dapitan, Mindanao. He also campaigned for Philippine Independence from the United States.
Aside from being recognized as the first Filipino criminologist, the first English translation of Mi Ultimo Adios is also credited to his name.
