M. De Santos
Formerly called Aceyteros, it was renamed in honor of Marcelino Rafael De Santos, a philanthropist who was a member and guarantor of the La Solidaridad, the managing director of La Liga Filipina, and a supporter of Jose Rizal.
Marcelino is the father of Isidoro De Santos who was among the first Filipino doctors of medicine. Isidoro built the IDES O’Racca Building in 1932 on the street that bears his father’s name.
