Philippines and Kyrgyz Republic
The Republic of the Philippines and the Kyrgyz Republic celebrate 31 years of formal diplomatic relations today, April 24! The two countries established diplomatic relations on April 24, 1992.
The Philippines opened an Honorary Consulate in Bishkek in 2018 to serve Filipinos working in the Kyrgyz Republic who are mostly professionals (i.e. teachers, dentists, entrepreneurs).
There are 115 Filipinos in the Kyrgyz Republic.
