Philippines largest non-life insurance company
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) reported a record-breaking PHP 6.8 billion in gross premiums written (GPW) for its non-life insurance business in 2022, the highest amount in GSIS’s history.
Previously, President Bongbong Marcos urged the GSIS to provide insurance coverage for all government properties, as mandated by RA 656 (Property Insurance Law).
GSIS offers insurance coverage such as fire, engineering, marine hull, marine cargo, aviation, bonds, motor car, personal accident, contractor’s all risks, and comprehensive general liability insurance.
GSIS is now the country’s largest non-life insurance company, with a net worth of PHP 41 billion in 2022.
