Quezon Memorial Shrine
The mausoleum has three vertical pylons that represent Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Each pylon is 66 meters tall-the number follows the age of Quezon when he died.
At the top are three mourning angels that are holding Sampaguita wreaths. These “muses” were created by the Italian sculptor Francesco Monti.
The monument was completed in 1978, the centennial of Quezon’s birth.
