Banaba Tree (Lagerstroemia speciosa (L.) Pers.)
Banaba is a medium-sized tree that usually grows up to 30 meters. It is commonly found in secondary forests at low to medium altitudes, grassland, and along rivers.
Aside from being cultivated for ornamental purposes, Banaba is also being cultivated for medicinal purposes. It is being used to manage and cure kidney ailments, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, among others.
