There is extreme heat these days. How can you handle a person hit by a heat stroke?
Philippine Health Advisory suggests you do the following:
- Have the victim drink fluids
- Have the victim lie down
- Elevate feet
- Apply cold compresses
- Use a fan to lower the temperature
- Bring the patient to the nearest health facility for further management.
