DOF to lead Agus-Pulangi Hydropower Plant Rehab
The rehabilitation aims not only to ensure the reliability of power supply in Mindanao but also to accelerate the Philippines’ shift to clean energy sources.
The Department of Finance is now finetuning a proposed arrangement on the funding rollout and implementation of the rehabilitation projects for the Agus-Pulangi Hydropower Plant Complex (APHPC) in Mindanao.
The projects are estimated to cost P16.71-billion, with the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) and National Power Corporation (NPC) serving as implementing units.
