Commissioner Dingdong Dantes Signed A MOA With NDRRMC

Dingdong Dantes, the commissioner of the National Youth Commission (NYC) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Dingdong Dantes true name is Jose Sixto Gonzales Dantes III, better known by the screen name Dingdong Dantes, is a Filipino actor, television presenter, commercial model, and film producer. He was born on August 2, 1980, in Quezon City, Philippines. Dingdong Dantes height is 1.80 meters or 5’9″ (Five Feet and nine inches) tall. He is married to Philippine actress Marian Rivera since the year 2014.

 

The MOA’s intention is to formalize the participation of the youth in disaster risk reduction management.

The Youth will participate in activities connected with disaster risk reduction in preparation and response of the youth in actual times of disaster and calamities.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) executive director Alexander Pama, the Youth’s active participation in social media will be a great help in disseminating important information in times of disaster or calamities.

NDRRMC Executive Director Alexander Pama said that it is his wish to see more members of the youth sector join hands with the NDRRMC.

Commissioner Dingdong Dantes said the National Youth Commission needs further reinforcement and grateful that the NDRRMC recognizes the importance of the youth.
