DFA San Pablo City Consular Office Opens

DFA San Pablo City Consular office opens with the aim to better serve the public.

The new consular office is one of the five offices in partnership with SM Supermalls, and is the 30th Consular Office to be opened nationwide.

The inauguration of the new consular office in San Pablo City in Laguna was led by Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Neil Frank R. Ferrer, who said that the opening of DFA office in San Pablo is in line with the Department’s thrust to bring its services closer to the public.

The consular office in San Pablo is located at 2nd Floor SM City San Pablo, Riverina Residential & Commercial Estates,  Maharlika Highway,  Brgy. San Rafael,  San Pablo City, Laguna.

Assistant Secretary Ferrer also stated that the new Consular Office would help serve the people in Southern Luzon, and help decongest DFA’s existing offices in Metro Manila.

The Consular Office in San Pablo is already accepting passport applicants through its online appointment system starting 30 October 2018.

DFA San Pablo office hours is from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M, Mondays  to Fridays .

Generally, the Philippine Consular offices in the Philippines process and issue passports to Filipino citizens.

Philippine consular offices abroad provide the following consular services:

  • Processing and Issuance of Temporary Visitors Visas to the Philippines
  • Legalization (Acknowledgments) of Documents such as Special Powers of Attorney,
    Affidavits and other Legal and other Legal Instruments for use in the Philippines
  • Authenticating official documents to be used in the Philippines
  • Processing for Reports of Births and Marriages for Filipino citizens
  • Processing for Reports of Births and Marriages for Filipino citizens
  • Issuance of Emergency Travel Documents to Philippine nationals for one-way
    travel to the Philippines

 

Apart from these consular services, the Consular offices also undertake activities aimed at promoting greater economic, cultural and people-to-people cooperation between the Philippines

Remember that NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED for the following applicants in the Philippines:

  • SENIOR CITIZEN and one (1) travel companion
  • PERSON WITH DISABILITY (PWDs) and one (1) travel companion
  • SOLO PARENT and his/her minor children
  • PREGNANT WOMEN
  • MINORS SEVEN (7) YEARS OLD AND BELOW and his/her parents and minor siblings
  • OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS (land-based, or seafarers)
