Guicam Bridge (The longest bridge in Zamboanga Peninsula)

667.20-METER GUICAM BRIDGE – The longest bridge in Zamboanga Peninsula.

A proposed bridge that will link Olutanga Island to the rest of Mindanao begins bidding, as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will soon commence its construction.

Known as the Guicam Bridges Project, the bridge will have a span of 667.20 meters that will link Barangay Guicam in the town of Alicia, to Barangay Hulahula in Mabuhay, Olutanga Island.

Once completed, it would be the longest bridge in the Zamboanga Peninsula.

Currently, Olutanga Island is linked through barges, connecting through those aforementioned towns.
