What is the penalty for killing wildlife in the Philippines?

Except for scientific research and other permissible instances, it is completely illegal to injure and kill all wildlife.

Up to 12 years of jail and /or a Php 500,000 fine awaits violators for injured wildlife.

Without appropriate permits, it is illegal to collect, possess, buy, sell, import, and export all wildlife, by-products and derivatives. Up to four (4) years of jail and a fine of up to Php 300,000 awaits violators. Illegally transporting wildlife merits up to a year of jail and a fine of Php 100,000.
