SAN PEDRO CUTUD LENTEN RITES

Pampanga is well-known for its annual reenactment of the crucifixion of Jesus in the barangay of San Pedro Cutud every Good Friday, which ends with the actual nailing of the penitents. They consider this as part of fulfilling their panátâ or religious vow or asking for forgiveness of their sins.
