The Anonas fruit (custard apple) is widespread throughout the Philippines. It was brought here from Mexico by the Galleon trade. It usually bears fruit, which is edible, from May to July. It belongs to the same family as atis (sugar-apple).
Ang puno ng Anonas ay kalat sa Pilipinas. Dala ito ng kalakalang Galyon mula Mehiko. Ito ay namumunga mula Mayo hanggang Hulyo. Gaya ng kapamilya nitong atis, nakakain ang bunga nito.
