The 1st Circumnavigation of the World
The voyagers came to Sarangani on 27 October 2021, the last location they landed on in the Philippines. Before they left Saranghani, they forced two natives to serve as pilots toward Maluku, and thus sailed to the Celebes Sea on 28 October 1521. This ends the Philippines’ part of the first circumnavigation of the world.
