Sack Race: Larong Pinoy
This fiesta favorite also made its way into Children’s Games (CG)!
The Padada, Davao del Sur leg of this UNESCO-recognized program was a blast, with the sack race as one of its games.
Having teams with an equal number of members, each participant has to jump to the finish line with his feet inside a sack to reach victory. The first team to finish becomes the winner.
More than 130 children of Padada joined in the fun, developing teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship in the said activity. PSC Commissioner Ramon Fernande did not miss out on the event and played with them.
