The increase in fines for illegal parking and obstruction on roads is now approved.
Expect its implementation on January 7, 2019.

Increase of fines as per MMDA Regulation No.18-008, Series of 2018
- Attended illegally Parked (Not Towed) – From Php200 to Php1,000
- Unattended Illegally Parked (Towed) – From Php500 to Php2,000
- Obstruction – From Php150 to Php1,000
For Unattended Illegally Parked Towed Vehicle, be aware of the following additional fines:
- Light Vehicles (less than 4500 kg.) – Php1,500
- Medium Vehicles (between 4501 kg. – 7500 kg.) – Php2,500
- Heavy Vehicles (7501 kg. and above) – Php4,500
- An additional Php200 shall be charged per kilometer on top of the base fee (from the place of
towing to the impounding area).
