President Ramon Magsaysay introduced the use of the National Anthem in the signing off of Radio and Television, by virtue of EO 25, s. 1954. The inclusion of the Anthem in the “signing in” on Radio and Television stations was later mandated by EO 99, s. 1993 issued by President Fidel Valdez Ramos.
