Quezon’s annual Niyogyugan Festival showcases the province’s culture and
its main product, coconut.
This year’s Festival is slated on August 9 to 20 at Perez Park, Lucena City,
featuring an agri-tourism exposition, recognition of outstanding farmers and
fisherfolks and other activities.
The Festival will showcase the agri-products of the municipalities of Quezon
and the creativity and ingenuity of our artists in Quezon province, this also aims
to promote tourism, agriculture, culture, and tradition of the province.
Other activities included “Araw ng Pamilyang Magsasaka;” awarding of certificate of recognition to outstanding farmers/ fisherfolks also known as “Gawad-Saka”; Farmers Congress and herbal landscape contest.
